He is survived by: his wife Pearlene Alston; his children, Taneshia Manley (Luther) of Enfield, NC, Sharodd Alston (Kimberly) of Enfield, NC and Deon Alston (Ramona) of Rocky Mount, NC; his parents, Lawrence Alston and Ida Alston of Enfield, NC; and his siblings, Susie Richardson (James) of Enfield, NC, Katrina Alston Hall (Tony) of Whitakers, NC, Rev. Chris Alston (Theresa) of Fort Worth, TX, Lawrence Alston of Enfield, NC, Mike Alston of Wilson, NC and Johnnie Alston (Bertha) of Nashville, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
