He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Rhodes (Stacy) of Smithfield, Joanne Pope-Clark (Vincent) of Raleigh and Elisha Pope; and his siblings, Linda Lue Williams, Evelyn Pope-Kelsco of Lynchburg, VA and Rev. Earnest Pope (Margaret) of Spring Hope. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
