With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Ellis of Louisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James A. Ellis; and his brothers, Charles, James "Putt", Gene and Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bumgarner Ellis; his stepson Clay; his stepdaughter-in-law Carolyn Ayscue; his stepgranddaughters, Rebecca Ayscue and Megan Crews (Julio); and his sister Kathy Gayle Barrett. He is also survived by four step great-grandchildren.
