She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson House and Elsie Foster House; her son Keith Shearon; and her siblings, Audrey House of Louisburg, Emily Swanson of Louisburg, Kim House of Louisburg and Stuart House of Louisburg.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Shearon (Sheila) of Spring Hope and Jennifer Shearon of Zebulon; her grandchildren, Hannah Shearon, Benjamin Shearon of Spring Hope and Brantly Tyson of Mars Hill; and her great grandchild Lane Tyson of Mars Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
