She was predeceased by: her husband George Herman Murphy, Jr.; her parents, Marion Kenneth and Juanita Lorene Smith Horner; her son David Brian Murphy; her grandson David Glenn Gardner; and her siblings, Kenneth Horner, Phillip Horner and Pamela Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lorene Murphy King (Alvin), Michael Murphy and Margaret Murphy Avent (Jack); her granddaughter Renee Powers (Samuel); her fiancée Cayla Collins; and her great grandchildren, Samuel Powers, Jr., Blake Powers, Alina Murphy, Naomi Powers, Lunna Murphy and Kierra Murphy.
