He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jones; his children, La'Shaunda Jones-Richardson (Gary) of Spring Hope and Sharo Jones (Mary) of Bunn; his sister Christy Scrubb (Lloyd) of White Plains, NY; and his goddaughters, Jenise Yarborough of Raleigh, Shyla Dunning and Bailey. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
