She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Meninger; her brother Joey Meninger; and her brother-in-law Jeff Fradel. She is survived by: her husband George William Plitt III; her children, Thomas William Plitt (Jenny) and Jennifer Lynn McKeon (Joseph); her siblings, Sharon Lee Fradel and David Lee Meninger (Patti); and her grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth Plitt, Thomas William Andrew Plitt and Ella Claire Plitt.
