Though Donald Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Crumpler and Beatrice Bass Crumpler. He is survived by: his wife Christine Crumpler; his daughters, Debra Fitzgerald (Robert) and Lisa Brown (Jonathan); and his grandchildren, Tyler Fitzgerald, Wesley Fitzgerald, Noah Brown (Hannah) and Hannah Brown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Gaston Baptist Church (128 Lynwood Rd, Littleton, NC 27850). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
