He is survived by: his sons, Michael L. McArtan (Jeanne), Robert A. McArtan and John K. McArtan (Krista); his siblings, Joyce A. Harkey (Bobby), Shirley J. Willoughby and Alvin R. McArtan (Charlotte); and his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Micah McArtan and Mercy McArtan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
