With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Mae Gillikin (Linden, North Carolina), born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2018 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her brother Robert Hallam. She is survived by: her husband Danny Gillikin; her children, Dennis Dale King of Texas, Wayne Iastan King (Sue) of Smithfield, Tracy Douglas King (Susan Kayreen King) of Godwin and Donna Marie Wade-Smith (Howard) of Godwin; and her stepdaughters, Helen Gillikin-Willis (David Charles) of Otway, Judy Gillikin Albright of Godwin, Deborah Barber (Bobby) of Texas, Diane Herman (Jeff) of Virginia and Dale Gillikin (Dan Smith) of Newport. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
