He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ernie Jackson Sr. and Louise McLeod Jackson; and his siblings, Pearl Smith, Leo Jackson, Elmer Jackson, Billy Jackson and Donnie Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughter Dixie Carter (Tim) of Fayetteville, NC; his sisters, Shelly Sweatt of Raeford, NC and Wilma Faircloth of Autryville, NC; his granddaughter Heather Thomas of Lillington, NC; and his great grandchildren, Austin Davis of Lillington, NC and Louella Dalton of Lillington, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
