It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clyde H. Baber Jr. of Linden, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Baber and Edith Baber; and his brother Harry Baber. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Long Baber; his children, Kelly Baber (Kathy), Shannon Johnson (Mark), Brittany McClymonds (Ryan) and Tyler Baber (Nicole); his stepchildren, Stephen Thomas (Sarah) and Lauren Carpenter (Kevin); and his sisters, Barbara Harkey (Gardie) and Debra Flaningan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
