She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lester Branton and Mary Anna Friar Branton; her daughter Teresa Gail Bolton; and her siblings, Dorothy Ellen Green, Bertha Mae Mitchamore and John Harvey Branton, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Black (Jimmy) of Vale and Debbie Lovejoy (Bruce) of Crouse; her sister Sarah Diane Queen of Lincolnton; and her grandchildren, Christi Mathewson, Mark Thomas (Jennifer), Dusty Thomas (Angie) and Jennifer Farmer (Shane). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
