He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Powell Hefner (Duane) of Lincolnton; his son Zakari Turner of Lincolnton; his stepdaughter Macy Walker of Rocky Mount, NC; and his siblings, Jeff Turner (Sharon) of Lincolnton and Misty Pearson (Justin) of Lincolnton.
