With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Thomas Alexander (Lincolnton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Alexander and Exie Torres Alexander; and his brothers, Harvey, Melvin, Clyde, Harold and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Gates Alexander; his children, Robert "Steve" Alexander (Gail) of Lincolnton, Cynthia A. Ballard (Rickey) of Lincolnton and Janet A. Garland (Dennis) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Kylie Pressley (Billy), Joshua Ballard, Tonya Swink (Jamie) and Amy Alexander; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Landon, Ethan, Austin and Shelby; and his great great grandchildren, Carma and Wynter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery.
