She was predeceased by: her father Jack A. Owens, Sr.; and her brother Jack A. Owen, Jr. (Natalie). She is survived by: her mother Mary Elizabeth Whitson Harrison of Lincolnton; her close friend Robert Harris; her sons, Ronald Vaughn (RyKer Blanton) of Dallas, Waylon Foster of West Jefferson and Jimmy Whitner of Asheville; her sisters, Beverly Waters (Shane Perkins) of Lincolnton, Karen Nations (Scott) of York, SC and Shelia Owens of Grover, NC; and her grandson Odin Foster of West Jefferson.
