She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Ballard and Ethel Burke Ballard; and her husband Columbus James Turner, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, James Turner (Heather) of Rock Hill, SC and Rev. Patricia Turner of Wilkesboro; and her granddaughter Lizzy Turner of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
