He is survived by: his significant other Deborah Payne; his son Charlie Payne; his grandsons, David and Curtis Payne; his siblings, Johnny Stovall (Teresa) of Mocksville, NC and Kennie Wright of Archdale, NC; and his niece Christy Morphis Hall (Chad) of Reidsville, NC.. He is also survived by nephews, and cousins.
