He is survived by: his parents, Richard Duran Stimson and Doris Biesecker Stimson of Lewisville; his wife Ann Carter Stimson; his stepson Chris Marsh; and his granddaughter Emily Blomer (Josh).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Hill Baptist Church.
