He is survived by: his wife Hope; his sons, Drew Haywood (Laura) of Chapel Hill, Jonathan Haywood of Lewisville and Mark Haywood (Kelly Mooneyham) of Chapel Hill; and his siblings, Jerry Haywood (Anne) of Robbins and Mildred Tschopp of Pennsylvania.
