It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Mabe Rector of Lewisville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alex Mabe and Rose Mae Joines Mabe; her sister Joan Nichols; and her niece Penny Walker. She is survived by: her husband Robert Rector; her children, Jaime Rector (Amy) of Benson, NC, Kim Rector Carpenter (Scott) of Clemmons, NC, Jennifer Rector Maynard (Noah) of Trinity, NC and Kristina Rector Honaker of Lewisville, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda Pazarena, Katelyn Carpenter, Dakota Honaker, Jacob Carpenter and Saniyah White; her great grandchildren, Hunter and Jackson; and her brother Bill Mabe.
