He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spaugh and Pearl Conrad Spaugh. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mock Spaugh; his children, David Spaugh (Jayne) and Lisa Spaugh Pilcher (Reggie); his grandchildren, Adam Pilcher (Lauren), Jacob Spaugh (Brooke), Pearl Pilcher, Emily Blodinger (Jake) and Kalli Spaugh; his great grandchildren, Allie Pilcher and Wyatt Spaugh; and his sister Edna Wooten.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church, 5330 Sharon Church Rd. Lewisville, NC 27023.
