With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Fred McGee of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lee McGee; his siblings, Tipton, Finley, Ralph, Lawrence, Edna, Mae, Irene and Shirley; the mother of his children Shirley Sams McGee; his wife Hazel Brookshire McGee; and his friend Floyd Honeycutt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Mayberry (Mark), Sissy Kincaid (Bryon) and Freda McGee (Wess); his grandchildren, Erin Ford (Blake), Stephen Smith (Brittney), Alexis McGee (Kevin) and Brennan Mayberry; his great grandchildren, Easton, Hunter Smith, Gracelyn and William 'Flynn Ford; and also, Elma Haynes, Wilma Happney and Wilbur.
