He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Jody; his siblings, Laura Parton (Tony), Warren Smith of Lenoir and Wayne Smith of Lenoir; his sisters-in-law, Linda Bradshaw (Tracy) of Lenoir and Pamela Mallard (John) of Tallahassee, Florida; his nieces, Christy Hayes (Scott), Jessica Bradshaw, Stephanie Brown (Diamond) and Amy Hall (Travis); his close friends, Teddy, Tommie Gail Saunders, Evelyn Conley, Stanley Elder and Reggie Gilbert; his cousin Linda Haas; and his caregiver Kate Johnson.
