She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Helton; her husband James Prestwood; her siblings, Robert, Fred, Herndon, Jay, Ray Helton and Mary Helton; and her son-in-law Douglas Clippard.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Prestwood of Lenoir, Ronnie Prestwood of Lenoir and Jean Clippard of Lenoir; her brother Boyd Helton of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Amanda Pennington (Mike) and Stephen Clippard; and her pet Ben. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
