He is survived by: his spouse Ravanell Clark; his son Michael Van Kirby (Catherine); his grandsons, Asa Shea Kirby (Christy) and Matthew Alan Kirby; his great grandchildren, Zachary Michael, Asa Beau and Mabel June Kirby; and his brother Daniel Kirby.
