He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Lee Jones and Gertrude Murphy Jones; and his siblings, Marie Jones, Ray Jones, Bobby Jones, Carroll Jones and Jimmie Lee Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Morgan Jones.
