She was predeceased by: her mother Cinda Roebertie Jones; her husband Howard Ritch; her children, Cecil Cornett, Bill Cornett, Joe Cornett and Carolyn Brotherton; and her siblings, Howard Jones, Paul Jones and Irene Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cannon of Granite Falls, Mary Carpenter (Steve) of Granite Falls, Dorothy Cornett of Morganton and Gary Cornett of Lenoir; and her sisters, Judy Bryant of Connelly Springs and Louise Presnell of Greensboro. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
