She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie McDonald and Tressie Sara Phillips Farthing; her husband Rev. Charles Ralph Staton; her son Kenneth Ralph Staton; and her siblings, Johnny Farthing and Sue Duggar.
She is survived by: her son Rev. Michael Staton (Donna); her sister Lucille King (Bob); her daughter-in-law Becky Staton Sanderson (Larry); her grandchildren, Steven Staton (Samantha), Leah Niglio (Gianni), Mark Staton (Ashley) and Cynthia Staton Spruill (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Syler, Sterling, Simon, Skye, Sophia Staton, Liliana, Gustavo Niglio, Evelyn and Jessica Spruill. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
