He is survived by: his wife Jean Triplett Stamey; his children, Sandra Whisnant and Paul Stamey, Jr. (Denise); his grandsons, Michael Puma (Brandy Schronce) and Matt Johnson (Krysta Strickler); his great grandchild Gunnar Puma; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Johnson and Madelyn Johnson; and his sisters, Ruby McRary and Mae Blair. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
