He was predeceased by: his parents, Otilla Shores and Ernest Brown; and his siblings, Ralph, Carolyn, Lois and Dawn.

He is survived by: his children, Catherine Evans, Robin Hollar, David Brown and Susan Tuttle; his grandchildren, Ryan Scott Wilson, Courtney Jones, Cameron Evans, Robert "Drey" Stansell, Devin Stansell, Nadia Hollar and Owen Tuttle; and his siblings, Barry Brown, Florence Arney and Dora Bare. He is also survived by his 7 great-grandchildren.
