It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Donald Powers of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Powers and Catherine Knight Phillips; and his daughter Meredith Powers West. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kelly Powers; his children, Bryan Powers (Tiffany) of Marietta, GA and Robbie Carraghan (Jared) of Hudson; his son-in-law Kevin West of Fayetteville; his sister Mary Greene; and his grandchildren, Mary Hannah West, Kaleb West, Cordelia Powers and Adelaide Powers.
