He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Dotson and Alice Hughes Dotson. He is survived by: his children, Raven Dotson, Jr. of South Charleston, WV, Laura Setzer (Stacy) of Lenoir and Tiffany Morris of Indiana; and his siblings, Mickey Dotson of New Haven, CT and Alice "Faye" Butcher of Costa, WV. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
