She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Triplett and Annie Lou Steele Triplett; her husband David Rowe Drum; her siblings, Marvin Triplett, Beulah Warlick, Eula Church and Helen Triplett; and her son-in-law Larry Haas.

She is survived by: her children, David Drum Jr., Deborah Drum Haas of Lenoir, NC and Victoria Drum Sawyer (Jerry) of Lenoir, NC.; her grandchildren, Leslie Farris (Randy Dula) of Lenoir, NC, Dawn Smith of Hudson, NC, Brandon Sawyer of Lenoir, NC and Allen Dean Hass (Corbie) of Grasonville, MD.; her great grandchildren, Jonah Farris (Amanda) of Apex, NC, Caleb Farris (Alaina Chandler) of Granite Falls, NC, Laney Sue Carpenter, Grady Carpenter of Hudson, NC, Ella Haas, Asher Haas and Brielle Haas of Grasonville, MD; her brother Charlie Triplett (Mildred) of Lenoir, NC.; and her grandson Jonah Farris. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and lifelong friends.

Before the pandemic, she loved going out to eat and visiting at local restaurants, especially Clarence's Friendly Lunch.
