She is survived by: her children, Tony Reid of Asheville and Alisha Bishop (Kenny) of Lenoir; her sisters, Patsy Hamby (Steve) of Wilkesboro, Debbie Benfield of Granite Falls, Cindy Rogers of Rhodhiss, Pam Reid of Drexel, Barbara Richards (Terry) of Lenoir and Paula Booth (Ronnie) of Lenoir; and her pet Millie. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
