He was predeceased by: his sons, Joe Derek Tolbert and Tracy Lee Tolbert; his sister Tola Tolbert; and his sister-in-law Caroline Wilson Tolbert. He is survived by: his wife Irene Cozart Tolbert; his children, Jody Braswell (Wendi) and Christy Kimberly (Ken); his siblings, J. T. Tolbert and Caroline Tolbert Eller (Emery); and his grandchildren, Dr. Shea Tolbert, Chase Tolbert, Tech, Kristopher Kimberly, Kamron Kimberly, Kenny Kimberly and Amber Sipos.
