With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Waters of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Lee Waters and Grace Marie Watson Waters; his wife Rena Eller Waters; his siblings, Wayne Gordon Waters and Linda Waters Phillips; and his brother-in-law Ernest Phillips.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Macy and Ally Johnson of Lenoir; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Stevens of Lenoir and Carolyn Waters of Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Gracie Green of Lenoir, Angela Anderson of Texas, Todd Phillips of Lenoir, Chad Keller of Lenoir and Scott Keller of Lenoir.
Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Lenoir, Columbarium Fund, 304 Main St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645; and because of Jerry's life time support of their working ministry, Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
