It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ray Storie (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Aulena and Ralph Waldo Storie of Lenoir, NC.; his brothers, Edward Storie and Earl Storie; and his wives, Ruth, Betty and Romie Storie.
He is survived by: his children, David Storie (Amanda) of Spruce Pine, NC, Timothy Storie of Lenoir, NC, Leah Storie of Chattanooga, TN and Jamielynn Storie of Los Angeles, CA.; his brother Jerry Storie; his sisters-in-law, Martha Storie of Boone, NC and Geneva Storie of Hudson, NC; his close friend Dora Alotaya; and his grandchildren, Dustin Gledhill and Allison Gledhill. He is also survived by his family and friends.
