He is survived by: his father Guy William Cheney, Jr. of Horseheads, NY; his stepfather Wayne Edward Swan of Boone; and his siblings, Christina Volpi of Millers Creek, Katherine Mann (Ted) of Elmira Heights, NY, Edward Cheney of Hawaii, Timothy Swan (Tammy) of Mooresville, Melinda Whitehead (William) of Wake Forest and Jennifer Swan of Knightdale.
