He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Jones and Frankie Cable Jones; his sister Teresa Jones; and his close friend Kenneth Barnette. He is survived by: his son Glen E. Jones, Jr. (Annie) of Nebo; his close friends, Elizabeth Barnette of Lenoir and Winnie Harding of Lenoir; his grandson Brock Jones; and his pets, Smokey, Wee, Tibbie, Spot and Blackie.
