She is survived by: her children, Karon Hughes (David), Steven Penley (Bethany) and Patty Ramsey (Mike); her grandchildren, Josh Hughes, Laura Arndt (Chris), Jennifer Love (Steven), Jacob Penley (Taylor), Katie Bevin (James), Jordan Penley (Jessica), Chelsey Cloninger (Chris) and Taylor Ramsey (Josh); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan, Ellie Love, David Hughes, Juliana, Caroline, Maverick Arndt, Leah, Chloe Biven, Madeline, Avery Penley, Everette Penley and Asher Cloninger; her sister-in-law Geneva Jarrett; and her caregivers, Janet and Gail.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Service (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
