She was predeceased by: her father John Robert; her husband Louis "Shorty" Ward; her daughter Ella May; her grandchildren, Eric Christopher Ward and Brandi Nicole Greene; her great grandchildren, Tabitha Brooke Ward and Johannah Marie Hayes; and her siblings, Ervin, Rev. Floyd, Daniel, Charles, Rev. Jack Harris, Tubie Hefner, Kate Stilwell and Maggie Helton.
She is survived by: her children, Sammy, Rodney (Billie), Kelly, Chris Ward, Mischelle Smith (Bobby), Lisa Greene (Greg), Lana Austin (Keith) and Dolly Frye (Roger); and her sister Joyce Harris. She is also survived by 16 grandkids.
