He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Kim Davis Stokes; his son Tyler G. Stokes of Hickory; his brother Larry Stokes (Gayla) of Longview, Texas; his sister-in-law Vickie Kirby (Ray) of Hickory; his nieces and nephews, Scott Propst of Hickory, Shane Stokes (Janiece) of Longview, Texas, Kristin Propst of Georgia and Crystal Stokes Bell (Adam) of Longview Texas; his great-nephews, Jackson Propst of Hickory, Kaden Peterson of Georgia and Colby Stokes of Longview, Texas; and his great-niece Claire Stokes of Longview, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, there will be memorial fund set up at the State Employee's Credit Union.
