He is survived by: his wife Melanie Carlton Dellinger; his children, Andrew Dellinger (Ashley) of Lenoir and Nicci Haas (Justin) of Lenoir; his sisters, Carolyn Lowrance (Claude) of Sawmills and Mary Williams (Toy) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Mia Tester, Addilyn Haas and Amelia Haas; and his friend Sheldon Gentry of Lenoir.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
