She was predeceased by: her father Frank Albert "John" Gragg; her husband Karleal "Ross" Scragg; her daughter Jenny Lynn Scragg; her siblings, Jim Smith, Pete Smith, Cubie Gragg, Norma Bruner and Kimeisha Lefevers; her half-siblings, Mildred Byers, Juanita Smith, Joe Smith and Everette Smith; and her stepfather John Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Scragg (Elwanda) of Lenoir, Rickey Scragg (Larinda) of Middletown, Randy Scragg (Gerti) of Lenoir, Greg Scragg (Glenda) and Sherry Davis (John) of Lenoir. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
