He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Bryant and Helen Moffitt Hawkins; and his son Steven Wayne Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dula Moffitt; his children, Harley Dula (Nikki) of Lenoir, Maranda Edwards of Hubert, NC, Amber Edwards of Lenoir and Ashley Polk of Hudson; and his siblings, Johnny Hawkins of Lenoir, Nancy Hawkins of Lenoir and Crystal Ferguson (Thomas) of Lenoir. He is also survived by grandchildren.
