She was predeceased by: her father Homer Griffin; and her daughter-in-law Deannea Rainwater. She is survived by: her husband Roland Kasper Rainwater; her children, Jason Rainwater (Jennifer) of Lenoir and Brandy South (Chris) of Lenoir; her siblings, Joe Griffin (Linda) of Oakhill, Steve Griffin (Patricia) of Hudson, Charles "Chuck" Griffin (Deedee) of Morganton and Barbara Gibson (Bo) of Connelly Springs; her aunts, Lida Martinat of Lenoir and Sue Martin of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Randol Jones, Hunter South, Chandler Rainwater, Andrew McNeill, Jaslene Rainwater and Wyatt South. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
