She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Dewey and Betty Benge Greene; her husband Lanies Lowe Hamby; and her siblings, Texie Greene and Ronald Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Hamby Pipes, Geneva Triplett, Dwight Hamby (Patsy) of Lenoir and Steve Hamby of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Rena Pipes, Tony Pipes, Terry Hawkins, Scott Hawkins, Junior Hamby and Holly Hendrix; her great grandchildren, Matt Pipes, Charles Davidson, Tamesha Davidson, Aaron Hamby, Crista Hamby, Danielle Bryant, Isiah Hedrix and Tyler Pipes; her great great grandchildren, Hurlen, Kedvin, Angel, Zack, Maverick, Gabe and Lakelynn; and her brothers, Hubert Green of Ferguson and James Greene of Ferguson.
