She was predeceased by: her parents, Robey Alfred Oliver and Dorthy Randall Oliver; her husband Barton Greer; her grandson Samuel Whittington; her siblings, Edward "Buddy" Oliver and Lona Lawrence; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Lawrence and Mike Triplett.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Kirby (Lyle) of Kings Creek; her grandsons, Victor Whittington (Gwyn) of Florida and Shane Whittington (Melinda) of Lenoir; her stepdaughter Della of West Jefferson; her stepgrandson Joey Kirby of Kings Creek; her great grandchildren, Kobe Whittington of Kings Creek and Austin Whittington of Lenoir; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Eain Kirby of Lenoir and Ashley Littlejohn of Lenoir; her brothers, Alfred Oliver (Barbara Riche), Garland Oliver (Barbara) and Havard Oliver (Nancy); her sister-in-law Patricia Oliver; and her sister Marlene Triplett of Lenoir. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
