It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hensley Griffin of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Hensley and Lena Edwards Hensley; her husband William Griffin; her son Kevin Griffin; her grandsons, William Griffin, Joshua Griffin and Dustin Wilkins; and her siblings, James Hensley, Alma Robinson and Joyce Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Jessie Phillips (Rodger) of Lenoir, Billy Griffin of Lenoir and Michael Griffin (LaWanda) of Granite Falls; her brothers, Wayne Hensley of Lenoir, Tommy Hensley of Drexel and Jody Hensley of Lenoir; and her grandchildren, Hannah Cannon, Alaura Norris, Jordan Caywood, Taylor Griffin, Austin Griffin, Jayden Phillips and Kaelyn Phillips. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
